Miami Dade College is preparing to transition to a remote learning environment due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Remote learning will begin March 30 and be in place through the end of the spring term. We are currently concentrating our efforts between now and March 29, while classes are suspended, to be prepared for this transition. We need all MDC MAGIC students to be ready for this transition making sure you have the adquate equipment at home, internet connection and install all software needed to ensure academic continuity.
Blackboard and MAGIC Classes
All MAGIC courses and classes will be facilitated through Blackboard starting March 30th, 2020. Faculty will contact you prior to your class with instructions and information about the classroom environment. If you need further assistance with Blackboard you may access Blackboard or via MyMDC mobile app. Visit MDC Online for Blackboard tutorials and tips.
Technology and Software
We put together some resources for you to make this transition easier. Please download the documents Day1_Readiness Checklist and MAGIC Student Software Installation Guide to start preparing for online classes. The following software installation video tutorials are also available: “How to install Harmony Premium”, “How to install Maya 2020” and “How to set up GoZ from ZBrush to Maya”.

Summer Enrollment is Open
