Telemundo and MDC MAGIC have partnered to create the TELEMUNDO SUMMER CAMP, a five-year initiative encouraging high school students to embark in a transformational experience through “Animation” and “3D Game Design” summer camps focusing on storytelling, 3d modeling, coding, game design, character animation and creating interactive simulations for Virtual and Augmented reality platforms. One of the great things about attending the TELEMUNDO SUMMER CAMP is that it provides each student with an established path for personal growth and learning.
At MAGIC, the Miami Animation & Gaming International Complex at Miami Dade College, we encourage and inspire kids and teens to become the next generation of developers, animators, video game designers, programmers and mixed reality creators. Our MAGIC Summer Camps feature hands-on, project-based learning infused with the latest in the creative industries, animation, video game development, VR, 3D printing technology and equipment. Our state of the art labs are equipped with industry standard technology and software, a motion capture studio, audio recording studio and screening room.
MAGIC’s instructors include highly respected tech educators, accomplished artists, and industry professionals who have a passion for sharing their knowledge. Each course is taught by one of our lead instructors with the support of teaching assistants, ensuring that our student-to-staff ratios stay low and that learning is a personalized experience.
