Esports competitions for talented students can be an integral part of the overall educational process and mission of Miami Dade College. That is why MDC is starting an Esports program located at Wolfson Campus. We strive to build an inclusive and welcoming community for any and all students of Miami Dade College who share a common interest in competitive gaming or gaming in general, regardless of race, gender, religion, marital status, age, national origin, handicap or financial resources. We hope to enrich the lives of participants by providing quality coaching, facilities, and support services, with equal treatment and resources available to all participants The program works in partnership with its dynamic, multi-cultural community to provide accessible and high-quality guidance and direction by keeping the needs of the student-athlete at the center of decision-making. Only the highest standards of sportsmanship and conduct are expected of students, coaches, staff and administrators associated with the Esports program at Miami Dade College.

MDC is institutionally accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges, and meets the educational standards of the U.S. Department of Education. Credits earned at MDC are easily transferred to other institutions, allowing students to continue their education and pursue advanced degrees at prestigious colleges and state schools across the nation.
Recruitment
MDC Esports is actively recruiting players for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, VALORANT, Rocket League, and other titles. We plan to compete in RedBull’s Campus Clutch in addition to NACE, NJCAAE, ECAC and NECC competitions. If you are interested in the opportunity to play collegiate esports please fill out our interest form that is attached below. You can also join our Discord. To be eligible: You must enroll or be enrolled at MDC, maintain an average of a 2.0 GPA, become a member of the MDC Esports Club, and adhere to MDC’s Esports Player Code of Conduct.
