With 46 years’ experience in the fieldof animation there isn’t much he has not seen in the past 4 decades. His career started at Filmation Studio which produced such popular shows as TheArchie’s\, Star Trek\, Fat Albert\, and Tarzan\, just to name a few. These shows wereproduced in the traditional method of drawing with pencil on paper and the colorapplied to transparent cells\, which was filmed under a camera for broadcast. Within five years Ron advanced from assistant animator to animator. He worked not only on popular T.V. series of the day but also some feature films like “Heavy Metal”\, “Watership Down”\, “The Mouse and His Child”\, as well as “Flash Gordon”.In the 80’s Ron left Filmation and started working as a freelance animator forHanna-Barbera .
