Alienware is an American computer hardware subsidiary of Dell, Inc. Their hardware is designed for video gaming purposes and has changed in physical appearance over the years. Alienware was founded in 1996 by Nelson Gonzalez and Alex Aguila. Alienware has established a partnership with MAGIC, providing full scholarships for the “Animation & Game Art” and “Game Development Design” academic programs.

Discovery Communications, Inc.
Discovery Channel Networks Latin America is a division of Discovery Communications. Discovery Networks Latin America and Iberia oversee Discovery Communications operations both on cable and satellite television in Latin America.
Discovery Networks Latin America, or Discovery, offers “a portfolio of channels, led by Discovery Channel and others networks, that are distributed in every pay Tv market in the Latin American.” The division offers over 8 channels in two languages (Spanish and Portuguese for Brazil) with “channel feeds customized according needs of advertising and sales opportunities.”
Univision Communications, Inc.
Univision has partnered with MAGIC creating a Fellowship and Internship programs for students currently attending the MAGIC program at MDC. Univision will hire an MDC graduate to work as Fellow at our headquarters in Miami for a period of six months, with a possible six-month extension. Fellows will be assigned to Univision’s Digital Newsroom. MDC students in the Department of Professor Mauricio Ferrazza will work with the Univision News to create class projects in a newsroom environment. Univision News professionals will work and mentor students during the semester. The projects developed under this expanded partnership will be published on UnivisionNoticias.com, the No. 1 most-visited Spanish-language website annually among U.S. online Hispanics.

Viacom is home to the world’s premier entertainment brands that connect with audiences through compelling content across television, motion picture, online and mobile platforms in over 160 countries and territories. Viacom International is partnering with MAGIC as a mentor for the student pitch winners and in providing internships at their Miami based studio.
West Kendall Baptist Hospital
South Florida’s world-class healthcare organization, Baptist Health offers an extensive range of medical, surgical and technological services — including weight-loss surgery, pediatrics, addiction treatment and cancer care — provided by renowned physicians. Baptist Health offers scholarships to MAGIC students as part of their initiative to use animation as a tool to spread the message on the importance of good health.

Code Art Miami
Code Art Miami highlights the creative side of coding and provides a vehicle to inspire girls and young women to learn to code and to showcase their creations. It also fosters community among the participating student groups and paves the way for future collaborations. Code Art Miami awards select MAGIC students with scholarships.

Patricia and Philip Frost Museum of Science
New ideas, new technology and the application of new business models will play critical roles in advancing South Florida’s future. As the region’s premier multi-purpose science and technology institution, the Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science will support the innovation-oriented creative industries of the 21st century. All internal displays for Frost Science will be created by MAGIC students.

Museu do Amanhã (Museum of Tomorrow)
The Museum of Tomorrow is an initiative of Rio de Janeiro’s Municipal Government, devised and achieved with Roberto Marinho Foundation, an institution connected to Grupo Globo. Its mission is to spread knowledge using the pillars of Arts and Culture. MAGIC content created students will be showcased at the museum.

PIXAR’s Renderman has partnered with MAGIC collaborating on its academic curriculum and implementing PIXAR’s render engine RENDERMAN into the production pipeline at MAGIC. Students graduating from MAGIC, will have experienced the same production pipeline as most top animation studios in the United States.
